Shannon is a senior attending Arizona State University and majoring in Exercise and Wellness. She started swimming with the City of Mesa when she was 7 and continued with it until she finally decided to join the Aqua Stars when she was 14. She swam with the Aqua Stars for four years and gained a lot of life skills that have helped her coach as well as re-start the ASU Synchro Devils with Haleigh Martinez. After her first year at college, Shannon couldn’t stay away from the team and came back to swim her final year on the 18-19 age group team.

 Following that year, the 2008-2009 season, Shannon coached the 11-12 age group and coached the team to 4^th place at Age Group Nationals in Florida. The 2009-2010 season her 11-12 team placed 2nd at Age Group Nationals duets placing 3rd and 5th as well as a 3rd place trio. The 2010-2011 season she is coaching the 13-15 age group for a new challenge and is excited to see the outcome for these girls.
